The making of the album
In the solitude of the Bird Mountains near Frankfurt, Tom Coal´s debut album is coming to life.
In a cottage he crafted with his own hands, he built a recording studio where he can shape his music to perfection.
Here, songs are created that reflect on his experiences and offer a glimpse into his 62-year journey through life.
Stories of growing older and the awareness of mortality, as in “Lifetrain”, memories of a first great love as in “Longing for you”, or the cross-generational search for meaning in “Peace of Mind”. Connecting the dreams of youth with the reflections of age.
